Radiator and over-heating problems usually come at the worst times. But potential emergencies can be prevented. A properly functioning cooling system circulates antifreeze/coolant through the engine and radiator, keeping everything cool in summer and preventing freezing and engine block cracking in winter. If maintenance is needed, we can provide a quick flush and fill, or larger repairs such as radiator or water pump replacement. At Austin’s Pro Max our radiator/cooling system inspection is free. And it only takes a few minutes. It’s time much better spent here than on the side of the road.
COOLING SYSTEM FLUSH AND FILL
Over time, dirt build-up, called electrolysis, can collect on the inside of your radiator plus other contamination increases in the fluid, too. Unfortunately, you can’t see this process until it is too late. A coolant system flush and fresh-fluid fill will help prevent the causes of these problems.
Our Pro Max service starts with an examination of your radiator and engine cooling system as we track dirt build-up and look for cracks, holes or other damage. We then flush the radiator with special cleaners that remove the old dirt and sediment and replace the fluid with new antifreeze/coolant per your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
